No. Northwest Anesthesia Seminars (NWAS) / Northwest Seminars (NWS) is not an accredited provider with the ANCC.

 

However, the ANCC accepts continuing medical education (CME) approved for CME hours sponsored by organizations, agencies, or educational institutions accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). NWAS/NWS activities are planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the A. Webb Roberts Center for Continuing Medical Education of Baylor Health Care System, Dallas and Northwest Anesthesia Seminars. The A. Webb Roberts Center for Continuing Medical Education of Baylor Health Care System, Dallas is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

The ANCC also accepts continuing nursing education (CNE) approved for nursing contact hours by an accredited provider or approver of nursing continuing education. We are an approved provider for the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider Number 04833), District of Columbia Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-7480), Florida Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-7480), and the Georgia Board of Nursing (Provider Number 50-7480).
