Northwest Anesthesia Seminars / Northwest Seminars Credit Reporting

CRNAs

We report credits directly to the AANA, so your certificate will be for your records. Pharmacology credits listed on your certificate are designated by Northwest Anesthesia Seminars / Northwest Seminars and thus are not reported to the AANA. However, you can use the certificate with these pharmacology hours for state licensure requirements.

Physicians

  • We report credits directly to the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) for board-certified anesthesiologists.
  • Your ABA ID # is required for us to report CME data to ABA.
  • Please verify or enter your number in your portal PRIOR TO completing your evaluation.
  • CME reported to the ABA is credited toward Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program (MOCA 2.0®) requirements. If you were Board Certified prior to 2000, participation in MOCA 2.0® is voluntary.
  • ABA-Approved patient safety credits: Starting in 2024, we are offering ABA-approved patient safety credits. After you submit your evaluation, we automatically report patient safety credits to the ABA.

Our programs also offer MOC points with the following boards:

  • American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)*
  • American Board of Pathology (ABPath)
  • American Board of Pediatrics (ABP)* (only when applicable)
  • American Board of Surgery (ABS)
  • American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS)
  • Be sure to enter your board number in your portal PRIOR TO completing your evaluation.

Two of these MOC boards require an evaluation with individualized feedback. So, if you choose to enter a board number for either ABIM or ABP, you will be prompted to answer the questions below in your online evaluation.

In order to submit MOC credits to the ABIM (or ABP), evaluation with individualized feedback is required. Please provide a detailed response to help us understand your perspective. Your response will be reviewed for acceptability in fulfilling this requirement. After attending this program, please reflect on the following:

    1. What are the most important things you learned from this program, and how will you incorporate these insights into your practice?
    2. How do you anticipate these changes or the maintenance of current practices will impact patient care and outcomes?

American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)

  • ACEP does not participate in ACCME/PARS reporting, so you are responsible for submitting your own credits to ACEP.

CE Broker

  • We report CME and CE directly to CE Broker for participating states.
