Can Registered Nurses attend NWAS/NWS courses?

Yes. Registered Nurses can attend NWAS/NWS courses and receive continuing education credit.

Our courses are all approved on an individual basis by the AANA. We are an approved provider (CE Broker provider number 50-7480) for the following state nursing boards: AR, DC, FL, GA, KS, MI, MS, NH, NM, SC, TN, WV, and WY. Our courses are also approved for CME as Northwest Anesthesia Seminars / Northwest Seminars is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. So, our courses offer a couple different credit options: CME, CEC, and CE.

State boards of nursing that require continuing education (some of them do not require any), will normally accept at least one (many times all) of the following:
* Continuing education hours approved by another state board of nursing

* Continuing education hours approved by a national nursing board
