Beginning October 1, 2025, Washington State’s new law SB5814 requires Northwest Anesthesia Seminars / Northwest Seminars to begin collecting sales tax from Washington State residents for our meetings and live webinars. This new law applies sales tax to several services not previously taxed. The State has informed us that we are subject to the ‘live presentation’ section of the new law. We are complying strictly because the law requires it. We appreciate your understanding as we adjust to this state-imposed tax.
